For general troubleshooting of the Mother-32, we recommend the following steps in order: 

  1. Set your panel to match the settings indicated here.

     
  2. Reset all GLOBAL SETTINGS by sending the associated SysEx file found HERE using a SysEx handler like BOMESENDSX for Windows or SYSEX LIBRARIAN for Mac. A guide on how to send SysEx files to your synthesizer can be found HERE.  

    Update the FIRMWARE to the latest version. You can find files and instructions HERE.
