SoundSwitch 2.9 introduced expanded autoloop banks, increasing the limit per-bank from eight autoloops to thirty-two. As such, the autoloop UI has changed to accommodate these new autoloops slots. This quick guide serves to clarify confusion for those updating from 2.8 to 2.9 and wondering "Where did the rest of my autoloops go?"
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Autoloop UI Changes in SoundSwitch 2.9 Desktop
In Edit Mode, you’ll see the four banks, with a blue highlight on the bank header indicating the currently selected bank. The Autoloop Matrix will display the 32 Autoloops for that specific bank, which can be selected as in previous versions by clicking on the Autoloop name.
See the image below for further reference; With Bank 1 selected, your first 8 autoloops are present, but the remaining spots are empty, since they've been distributed to banks 2, 3, and 4:
By selecting Bank 2, you reveal your next 8 autoloops as well as the remaining empty autoloop slots in Bank 2. You can fill these autoloop slots with automatically generated autoloops by right-clicking in the autoloop bank and selecting Populate Empty Autoloops. See the image below, where this has been performed within Bank 2
So on and so forth, your last two sets of original autoloops are distributed to banks 3 & 4 and can be accessed just as above for banks 1 & 2.

Autoloop UI Changes in Engine Lighting
As of Engine 4.1, the same changes made to autoloops in SoundSwitch 2.9 now apply to the UI of Engine DJ devices in standalone.
Below, we've attached an image of the old autoloop layout, which shows eight autoloops per bank in each of your four banks:
In Engine 4.1 and onward, you now have access to expanded autoloop banks, so all 32 autoloops will be shown depending on the bank selected. To switch banks, simply tap on the bank header. Below, we've attached an image that shows the 4.1 UI when used with a SoundSwitch project containing only 32 autoloops, opposed to the 128 maximum.
As explained above, you can populate the new autoloop slots in each bank by opening your project in SoundSwitch Desktop, right-clicking any autoloop in the current bank, then selecting Populate Empty Autoloops. Once you have done so on SoundSwitch Desktop, you can export your project for use with your Engine DJ hardware and the new populated autoloops will show in your banks. An example of this has been copied below:
