Within the MPC Software, you can export individual tracks, sometimes referred to as 'stems', from a project. This means that, during one export, all tracks from the project are exported as their own audio file, which can be helpful for the mixing and mastering stage of music creation. Engineers often prefer to have editing control of each audio file, in their DAW of choice. Alternatively, you may be collaborating on a track, and simply want to share the audio files back and forth.
In any situation, the guidance below will help you to export each track individually.
Firstly, please open the MPC menu, and navigate to File -> Export -> As Audio Mixdown
You will be presented with the following menu:
Select 'Explode tracks' to render a separate audio file for each track. If you want to have a separate audio track for just each program, select 'Separate programs'.
You can also customise the length of the export, by choosing your start and end bar, and audio tail length.
Lastly, choose the file format, bit depth and sample rate for your files, and then select export. Here, you can choose a folder location. It may be helpful to have a dedicated folder for your project export, for storage of all the individual tracks.
