With the MASCHINE+ USB ports on the back of the device, it is possible to connect a wide variety of class-compliant MIDI and audio devices. This includes the entire range of KOMPLETE AUDIO interfaces, the KOMPLETE KONTROL M32, and other third-party devices.

In theory, so long as the device is class-compliant, it should be detected by MASCHINE+ and function immediately.

Below are lists of Native Instruments and third-party devices that have been tested and are known to function with MASCHINE+ via USB. These lists may be updated as we test more devices and are able to confirm their compatibility.

Note: The devices marked with an asterisk (*) indicate that they have been tested by other users who have confirmed their compatibility with MASCHINE+.

External USB Drives

External USB drives can be used with your MASCHINE+ and can be browsed through via your device.

Note: The MASCHINE+ supports standard USB2 hard drives powered by 2.5W (5V @ 500mA). If you experience issues, check your drive’s specs, as it may require more power.
