Deactivating a Computer in SoundSwitch 2.10 and Newer
There are two methods to deactivate an activated computer in SoundSwitch 2.10 and newer.
Method 1: Deactivation Menu
If you're running SoundSwitch 2.10.1 or newer, we've added an easy activation menu at the launch screen allowing you to deactivate your machine in one easy step. Simply click on the User Account Menu at the top-left of the launch screen and select Deactivate Device
Method 2: Manual Sign Out
If you're running SoundSwitch 2.10.0, you can deactivate a device via the following steps:
- Open SoundSwitch on the machine you wish to de-activate
- Open Settings>User Account and log out.
- Close SoundSwitch
Deactivating a Computer in SoundSwitch 2.9.1 and Older
If you need to deactivate a computer for a version of SoundSwitch that is licensed via iLok, please refer to the following guidance from iLok to complete this process: iLok Support | Activation/Deactivation
