This guide walks you through the redemption process required to claim your 2 months free SoundSwitch license with eligible Denon DJ hardware purchase. 


Please Note:

  • The redemption process for this offer is not directly associated with registration to your inMusic profile, which is a separate process. For guidance on registering your device to your inMusic profile, please see this guide: How do I register my product?

  • This offer is eligible to DJ hardware purchased new from an authorized dealer. If, while following the steps below, you receive an error citing an invalid serial number, please confirm that your hardware was purchased NEW via your receipt as received from your dealer. If confirmed to be new, please reach out to support@soundswitch.com and include a copy of your proof of purchase for assistance. 


How to Redeem:


Step 1: Account Setup and Registration


Step 2: Do You Need Hardware?

  • If you already own a SoundSwitch DMX Micro or Control One, select "I Only Need Software." If you do not own a DMX Micro, Control One, or other compatible DMX interface, please select the hardware of your choosing, which will be included at checkout.



 



  • Choose the "Pay Monthly" option and proceed. Do not select the free trial.




 

Step 4: Setting Up Your Account


4. Enter your email address; If you already have an inMusic profile associated with Denon DJ, Rane DJ, Numark, or other inMusic hardware, use this email address. If you don't have an inMusic profile, simply use your  preferred email address; An inMusic Profile identical to that email address will be automatically created using your SoundSwitch account email address.


5. Enter the Serial Number located on the bottom of the packaging as AXXXXXXXXXXX. Please note, do not include the (21) shown at the beginning of the Serial Number. If you have entered your Serial Number correctly when you select "Apply" you will see the cart total now becomes $0.00


6. Once you've completed these steps, continue through the process. You may need to enter your credit card or PayPal details, as they will be used for your subscription.

Activating SoundSwitch

After completing your purchase, you will receive an activation email containing a link to complete your inMusic Profile setup. In order to successfully activate your SoundSwitch subscription, you must follow this link and define your inMusic profle password. If your password is not defined, activation will not be successful.

When completing this step, ensure you enter the same email address you used at checkout above.


Once SoundSwitch has been installed, it's time to activate the software.


  1. Open SoundSwitch. You will be prompted to log in to your inMusic Profile; Click the Log In button to proceed, which will open a login window in your default internet browser

  2. Log in to your inMusic Profile

  3. SoundSwitch is now activated and ready for use!


Troubleshooting:


  • I finished setting up my account, but SoundSwitch won't activate after installation: If SoundSwitch fails to activate after you've completed your purchase and installed the software, it may indicate that your inMusic Profile password has not been defined. To resolve this, reset your inMusic Profile Password, then restart SoundSwitch. 

    When completing this step, ensure you enter the same email address you used at checkout above.


  • I'm Having Trouble Logging in to my inMusic Profile: Please use the 'Forgot Password' function to reset your password and regain access to your account. As well, check your email inbox for an activation email after completing your initial purchase to ensure your account has been set up correctly.
