In this article we will go through the steps to separate drum kits to individual MIDI tracks.
We will be using DrumSynth in this example, but this also works with user/factory expansions and samples in a drum program.
1. Load DrumSynth (Multi Preset)
2. Once you have recorded your drum kit parts, tap the Pen Icon:
3. Then, tap Explode:
4. The main track you just recorded to will be muted and your drum kit parts will be exploded to individual MIDI tracks:
If you need to export your drum kit parts as individual audio tracks, do this via: Menu > Save > Audio Mixdown > Explode Tracks
