In Hype, importing and saving presets is simple once you know where to look. Here's how you can import a preset and save your own for easy recall in both Windows and macOS.
Importing a Preset
To import a preset, open Hype and click the menu icon (three horizontal lines) at the top left of the plugin window. Then, click Load Preset from the dropdown. Navigate to the folder where your preset is stored and select the file to import. Once the preset is loaded, you can access it in the "User" section of the preset menu.
Saving a Preset
To save a customized preset, click the menu icon at the top left of the plugin and select Save Preset. This will open a window where you can name your preset. On Windows, your saved presets will be stored in the following directory:
```
C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\AIR Music Technology\Plugin Presets\Instruments\AIR Music Technology - MPC - Hype
```
For macOS, this would be:
```
/Library/Application Support/AIR Music Technology/Plugin Presets/Instruments/AIR Music Technology - Hype
```
After saving your preset, it will appear under the User section in the preset browser, making it easy to find and use later.
