In this article, we will cover basic troubleshooting steps if you receive 403 error when trying to download your desktop software or MPC standalone plugins:

A 403 error can occur due to a number of reasons. We would first recommend trying the following to bypass this error.

· Clear Cache (please be aware this will remove any save passwords) or try a different browser.

· If you are on Mac, you might need to allow accessibility permissions and adjust your security privacy settings

· It could be antivirus software blocking the downloads. Check your settings and adjust accordingly.

If the issue persists, it may be occurring due to regional blocks by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). If you have tried the troubleshooting steps above and are still experiencing an issue, we would suggest speaking to your ISP to see if they can provide any further advice and support in your country.

Alternatively, you may consider using a VPN as a workaround to any regional blocks. While this is not something we officially recommend or support; we have received feedback from users in similar territories that this has worked for them.
