Download and Subscribe to djay Pro:
Start by downloading the djay Pro app from the App Store on your iPhone or iPad. Make sure to subscribe to djay Pro in order to use external hardware like the Party Mix II. You can begin a 7-day free trial directly within the app.
Connecting Cables:
Use the included USB cable from your Party Mix II to connect it to your iPhone or iPad. Depending on the type of port your device has, you will need a compatible USB-to-lightning adapter or USB-to-USB-C adapter. It is important to use an adapter that supplies power to both the Party Mix II and your iPhone or iPad.*
*Some iPhone/iPad adapters may not provide sufficient power for your iOS device and the Numark Party Mix II. If you are only receiving LED feedback from your Numark device and are unable to control any functions within the app, it is likely that you are not supplying adequate power to both devices. For optimal performance, we recommend using a USB wall adapter with an output of at least 20W.
