Registration
We first recommend registering your M-Track with your inMusic Profile. If you do not have an account already, this is free to create, and can be accessed here.
Please select 'register new product' once signed into your account, and the below page will appear:
Enter the serial number (the '21' is already entered for you by default) and then click 'check serial'. The product will then be located, and you can proceed with completing the registration. The product will now appear in your registered products list, where you can select 'view product downloads' to access the included software content.
Driver Installation
For Mac users, the M-Track Solo and Duo do not require drivers for operation. However, for Windows, drivers will need to be installed. They can be accessed from the downloads page of the M-Audio website.
Once downloaded, you will need to run the installer, by double clicking on the .exe file. From here you will be guided through the installation process, which is quick and easy to complete. The install wizard will let you know once it has finished.
If you are unable to access the website or downloads page, please get in touch with our support team here, who will be able to assist.
Set-Up
Now you are ready to connect the interface to your computer via the included USB cable.
Within your chosen audio software, the audio input and output can be set to the M-Track device. The same can also be set for system audio, within your computer system audio settings (for example audio from web browsers or file playback).
To monitor audio from the connected computer, please ensure the front monitoring switch of the M-Track is set to 'USB'. If set to a 'direct' option, the audio from the device outputs will only be direct from the inputs. This is helpful for low latency monitoring when recording, however it will mean that audio from the computer is not routed to the outputs.
