If you're encountering difficulties with the multi-output option for MPC 2 within Logic Pro, follow these steps to resolve the issue:


Step 1: Ensure the Latest Version of MPC is Installed

Make sure you have the most up-to-date version of MPC installed on your system. Updates often include critical bug fixes and improvements.


Step 2: Install MPC Drivers from MPC 2 Installer

Double-check that you've installed the MPC drivers using the MPC 2 installer. This step is essential for proper integration with Logic Pro.


Step 3: Open MPC as a Standalone DAW

Before using MPC 2 as an AU instrument in Logic Pro, try opening it as a standalone DAW first. This can sometimes help with compatibility.


Step 4: Open MPC 2 as an AU Instrument in Logic

1. Launch Logic Pro.

2. Create a Software Instrument track.

3. Choose "MPC" from the list of available plugins.


Step 5: Perform an Audio Unit Reset in Logic

If the issue persists:

1. Open Logic Pro.

2. Navigate to Preferences > Audio Units Manager.

3. Find the MPC plugin in the list.

4. Select it.

5. Click the "Reset and Rescan Selection" button.


Step 6: Remove the MPC Component from the Mac's Component Folder
