Due to changes made by Apple and Microsoft in newer operating systems like Mac OS Big Sur, Monterey, Ventura, and Windows 11, some legacy Rane DJ hardware can only be used on older operating systems under specific conditions.
If your device currently works on your existing operating system, we highly advise against updating your OS.
To turn off automatic updates for macOS, please do the following:
- Navigate to System Preferences > Software Update
- Uncheck the box next to Automatically keep my Mac up to date.
To turn off automatic updates for Windows, please do the following:
- Navigate to the Settings Menu.
- Choose Update & Security, then select Windows Update.
- Select Advanced Options.
- Find the Pause Updates section and choose a date from the drop-down list. Updates will not complete automatically until this date is reached.
If you get an error message in Serato DJ Pro like the one below, you will be prompted to download the appropriate version of Serato DJ Pro that is compatible with your hardware.
