Tarabbia Virtual Analog Oscillators A and B
Tarabbia oscillators are no run-of-the-mill sawtooths. These babies emulate real analog circuitry with all the grit and low-end warmth you expect. Each OSC gives you level, coarse pitch, fine pitch, and timbre control.
Supersaw
A supersaw oscillator thought of by many as the best-sounding one on the market gives additional timbre variation to your sounds. Level, coarse, fine, and timbre controls.
Noise
Level and timbre controls.
Resonant Butterworth Low Pass Filter
A warm, fat Butterworth filter to round out the hard edges or add a gorgeous resonant filter sweep to your sounds.
The Cut slider will raise or lower the low pass filter frequency. The Res slider will raise or lower the resonance of the low pass filter.
If you are not hearing a difference when adjusting these you may need to adjust the Amt slider in the Filter Envelope section which controls how much the filter envelope modulates the filter.
The MW Polarity control reverses the filter sweep assigned to the modulation wheel from close>open to open>close.
Filter Envelope
The low pass filter envelope is a standard ADSR envelope giving you control over the Attack, Decay, Sustain and Release of the envelope as it affects the LP Filter.
If you are not hearing a difference when adjusting these you may need to adjust the Amt slider which controls how much the filter envelope modulates the filter.
Amplitude Envelope
The volume envelope lets you shape your sound into leads, pads, plucks, short or long bass sounds, and more.
Use the four vertical sliders of the Amplitude Envelope (AMP). The Amplitude Envelope is a standard ADSR envelope that gives you control over the Attack, Delay, Sustain and Release times and levels.
The Master Volume slider is also located in this panel.
Mono, Legato, and Glide
Monophonic (MONO)
Turning on the Mono button will make your sound monophonic, that is, play only one note at a time. This is very popular for leads and electronic basses.
Glide Time (GLIDE)
The Glide knob will make played notes pitch bend into one another. This is another popular feature of lead and bass sounds but can be used in other contexts as well. Higher Glide values will take longer to reach their pitch whereas lower glide values will reach their pitch faster. Glide is available in monophonic or polyphonic modes.
Legato Filter
The legato filter switch will cause the filter to continue through its envelope until a new legato note is played. Legato play happens when starting a new note before releasing the previous note.
