Don’t program your effects. Play Them!
Nothing kills your creative flow faster than having to draw in DAW automation data. Even those words sound uninspiring!
G8TOR’s Live Pad Effects give your sequencer lines instant variation. Rise, sweep, pan, crush, filter, mod, and stutter your track into endless sonic realities just by hitting a pad. An easy MIDI learn parameter lets you quickly assign your controller pads to each pad effect. 5 different play modes for each pad let you decide exactly how you want to trigger and control each effect.
Modes
The Pad FX Key tells you how to assign each pad to use the MIDI control method you prefer. One-shot lets you trigger the pad once to hear the whole effect. Toggle lets you turn the effect on with your first trigger, then off with your second trigger. Hold will keep the effect running as long as you have the pad enabled. Mono and Poly Aftertouch (AT) let you use a mono or poly pressure keyboard or pad to control the effect in real-time.
MIDI Learn
The MIDI Learn switch, when enabled, allows you to select a pad and then play the key or pad on your hardware controller that you would like to use to trigger the pad effect.
Bit Crush
A bit crusher for low-fi effects. Controllable number of bits and gain control.
Filter
Time synchronized filter sweeps. You can select a high pass or low pass filter for this pad. Control the time and the direction of your filter sweeps.
Mod
Flanger and Chorus Doubling. Speed and intensity control let you dial how subtle or obvious this effect can be.
Fractal Delay
A unique effect that’s too hard to describe in words but one which you’ll definitely want to hear!
