We’re sorry you’re having trouble authorizing your 2getheraudio plugin. It’s hard to tell exactly what happened but try the steps below to fix the issue.
IMPORTANT: Make sure you are connected to the internet and your connection is working!
- Close the DAW you are using or close the standalone plugin itself if you aren’t using a DAW.
- On a Windows machine, open the “Run” application and follow this path:
- C:\ProgramData\2getheraudio\plugin name\
- C:\ProgramData\2getheraudio\plugin name\
- On macOS, locate the equivalent folder by following this path:
- /Library/Application Support/2getheraudio/plugin name/
- /Library/Application Support/2getheraudio/plugin name/
- Open the folder of the plugin you are trying to authorize, and find a file called “authorizations.json”. Delete this file.
- Reopen the standalone app for the plugin, or reopen the DAW and load the plugin onto a track. You should now be presented with the authorization window again.
- Copy the authorization code in your email receipt and paste it into the authorization window using the Paste from Clipboard button.
- Click the authorize button, then wait until the plugin authorizes. It could take a few minutes depending on your internet speed.
