What is the display type of the projector?


The display type is 3LCD.



How do I connect to my Bluetooth device?


Turn on your Bluetooth device and power on Projector Plus/PA, which will automatically begin the pairing process (Projector Plus/PA is always in pairing mode). You will know that Projector Plus/PA is not yet paired to a Bluetooth device if the Bluetooth LED is still unlit.

Navigate to the Bluetooth device’s setup screen. Then find and select Projector Plus or Projector PA. You will know that the Projector Plus/PA is paired with your Bluetooth device when the Bluetooth LED is lit solid blue. Also, the speaker will play a brief tone once pairing is complete.

Note: If your Bluetooth device prompts for a pairing code, enter “0000”.



How do I disconnect from a Bluetooth device?


To disconnect the paired Bluetooth device, press and hold the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds.



How far is the Bluetooth range?


The Projector Plus/PA has a Bluetooth range of up to 100 ft. Keep in mind that physical obstructions between the Projector Plus/PA and the audio source can interfere with the stability of the Bluetooth connection.



Does this unit have a battery?


The Projector Plus has a Lithium-Ion battery and can be used remotely without the power supply. The Projector PA will need to be plugged into an outlet with the included adapter to receive power.



What is the aspect ratio of the projector?


The Projector Plus/PA has the following aspect ratios: 4:3, 16:9, and Auto.



How long can the Projector Plus be powered by battery?


The Projector Plus's rechargeable battery delivers approximately 2 hours of video or up to 100 hours of audio.



What is the USB port for? Can I connect my phone to it?


The USB port allows you to connect a USB storage device to project video, photo, music, or text files directly from the drive. This port is only for USB drives and will not be able to load video or audio content from a computer, phone, or tablet via USB cable.

The maximum supported capacity for a connected USB drive is 32 GB.



What file formats are supported for external drives?


The Projector Plus/PA supports the following file formats:

  • Supported Picture Formats: JPG, GIF, BMP, PNG
  • Supported Audio Formats: MP3, WAV
  • Supported Video Formats: Mpeg1, Mpeg2, Mpeg4, AVI, RMVB, MOV, MJPEG
  • Supported Text Format: TXT



What is the color brightness of the projector?


The Projector Plus/PA has a color brightness of 45 lumens.



What's the native resolution for the projector?


The native resolution for the display is 800 x 480 RGB.



What are the minimum and maximum viewable screen sizes?


The Projection size ranges from 31 inches to 150 inches (diagonal measurement).



What is the maximum resolution of the projector?


The maximum resolution of the Projector Plus/PA is 1080p. The following video resolutions are also supported: 1080i, 720p, 576i, 480p, and 480i.



Can I use this device for Karaoke?


Absolutely! The Projector Plus/PA can be used to project video and music from an HDMI source for your very own Karaoke party at home. After setting up your video source, simply connect the included mic to the Mic Input on the projector, adjust the Mic Volume, and sing your heart out!



How do I set up the mic?


The Projector Plus/PA both come with an included mic and cable. Connect the mic to the projector's Mic Input. On the mic, there is an On/Off switch. Set this to On and adjust the Mic Volume knob to a comfortable level.

Note: If you are not hearing any signal from the mic, be sure to increase the Master Volume as well.



My video doesn't have any audio when connected via HDMI. What should I do?


Digital audio output settings are not standardized and can change across different platforms and devices. If you are not hearing audio from your HDMI source, we suggest checking the source's audio settings and verifying that they are set to PCM Stereo mode.

The Projector Plus/PA does not support Dolby Digital 5.1. If this is the only option that your HDMI source allows for, then the video's audio can still be streamed via Bluetooth or by directly connecting the video source to the Projector Plus/PA's Aux Input with a 1/8" cable.

Can I use this product to show a PowerPoint presentation?

The Projector Plus/PA is a great way to enhance any PowerPoint presentation! Project your slides for the whole room to view from a laptop or USB drive. For larger rooms, the mic can also be used so that your hard work is heard by all!



What is the main difference between the Projector Plus and Projector PA?


The main difference between these two units is that the Projector Plus has a rechargeable battery while the Projector PA will need to be powered from an outlet.

How do I project video using the HDMI port?

1. Use an HDMI cable to connect your device to the HDMI Port on Projector Plus.

2. Press the Source button while the projector is turned on, and then a menu will appear on the right side of the projector screen.

3. Press the Source button until HDMI is selected.

Alternatively, use the Arrow buttons on the Navigation Pad to highlight HDMI.

4. Press the OK button to confirm your selection.

5. Once you select HDMI as the projector source, the projector will display whatever is playing on the device connected to the HDMI Port. Use the controls on your device in order to adjust playback as needed.

How do I project video from a USB drive?

1. Plug your USB drive into the USB Port on Projector Plus.

2. Press the Source button while the projector is turned on, and then a menu will appear on the right side of the projector screen.

3. Press the Source button until USB Media Player is selected.

4. Press the OK button to confirm your selection.

5. The projector will display the list of directories on the USB drive. Use the Arrow buttons to highlight the directory that contains the desired movie files. Then press the OK button while the directory name is highlighted.

6. The projector will display the list of folders/movie files within that directory. Use the Arrow buttons to highlight the folder that contains the desired movie files. Then press the OK button to select that folder.

7. The projector will display a list of movie files. Use the Arrow buttons to scroll between the movie files. As each file is highlighted, Projector Plus may begin playing a preview of the highlighted video from the beginning. When the movie file you want to watch is selected, press the OK button to select it.

8. A pop-up will appear asking if you would like to resume the video. Select Yes or No. If you select Yes, the video will continue playing from the point at which the video preview left off. If you select No, the video will restart from the beginning. If you did not highlight the movie file long enough for a preview to start, the movie will automatically play from the beginning after you select it.

Note: In order to adjust the playback of the movie files, press the OK button to bring up the menu at the bottom of the screen. Then use the Arrow buttons, OK button, and Return button to navigate the available options.



What types of video inputs does it have?


The Projector Plus/PA can receive video signal from the HDMI port or USB port.



What types of audio inputs does it have?


The Projector Plus/PA has a 1/8" Aux Input for connecting a wide array of audio devices. There is also a 1/4" Mic Input for the included mic.

Additionally, you can connect to any Bluetooth enabled device to wirelessly stream audio to the Projector Plus/PA.



Can I use multiple audio inputs at the same time?


Yes! The Projector Plus/PA allows for a number of different audio configurations to be customized to any event. All audio inputs (Aux, Mic, and, Bluetooth) can be used simultaneously. Additionally, Aux, Mic, or Bluetooth signals can be used while receiving video/audio from an HDMI source or USB Drive.



How do I adjust the focus of the projection?


Use the Focus Ring (12) to rotate the wheel left and right in order to get a clear picture from the projector. How you should set the Focus Ring will depend on the distance between Projector Plus and the projection screen.

If Projector Plus/PA is not sitting on a level surface, use the Keystone Adjustment (13) lever in order to tilt the projector lens so that it is perpendicular to the projection screen.

I'm having trouble connecting to my Bluetooth device. What should I do?


The Projector Plus/PA is automatically set into pairing mode when powered on. If you are having trouble connecting to your Bluetooth device, it's possible that you are already connected to a different device.

To disconnect a Bluetooth pairing, press and hold the Bluetooth button on the Projector Plus/PA for 2 seconds. Once the link is unpaired, the unit will reenter into pairing mode. Open your Bluetooth device's preferences to connect to the Projector Plus/PA.



Why is my computer playing the video's audio instead of the Projector Plus/PA?


If you are connected to a computer via HDMI and not hearing audio from your device, you may need to adjust your computer's audio settings. Open your system sound settings and select HDMI as the audio input source.



How do I access the settings page?


The Projector Plus/PA will display the settings page as a projection. After powering on the unit, select your video source. Now, press the Settings button (between the Projector and Source buttons). The projector's setting parameters will be shown in the top right corner of the projection. Use the Arrow and OK button to select and adjust your settings.
