Please note that this guide specifically addresses the issue of MIDI conflicts. If you're experiencing a different issue in performance mode, such as your lightshows responding to only one deck, or connection issues between SoundSwitch and Serato DJ, please refer to the Performance Mode troubleshooting guide linked below:

Ignore DJ Controller in SoundSwitch

If MIDI input from your DJ controller, such a press on a performance pad or tweak to an FX knob, is unintentionally causing control or setting changes in SoundSwitch, ensure that SoundSwitch is ignoring your DJ controller via the following steps:

  1. Restart your computer. Connect your DJ controller via USB, then launch SoundSwitch. Do not launch Serato at this time.

  2. In SoundSwitch, switch to Performance Mode. Then, click the carrot/arrow icon in the left margin of the Performance Mode menu to show the MIDI Device Menu:

  3. Right-click on your DJ Controller's device name in the device list and select "Ignore Device."

  4. Launch Serato DJ and test.

If you're still experiencing conflicting MIDI behavior in SoundSwitch from your DJ controller after performing the above, see the Additional Troubleshooting section below.

Ignore Control One in Serato DJ Pro

If your Control One's MIDI input is causing unexpected control changes in Serato, please confirm that the Control One is not enabled as a Serato MIDI device via the steps below:

  1. Open Serato DJ Pro with your DJ Controller and Control One connected.

  2. Select the gear icon in the top-right of your Serato window to reveal the Settings menu, then navigate to the MIDI menu.

  3. Select the Control One in the device list and ensure the 'Enable MIDI Device' box is not ticked:

If you're still experiencing conflicting MIDI behavior in Serato from your Control One after performing the above, see the Additional Troubleshooting section below.
