Using Attribute Cues in Edit Mode:

Attribute Cues in SoundSwitch are a powerful tool to control special functions and lighting effects on your fixtures, such as GOBO, Prism, Focus, Zoom, and more. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to use Attribute Cues:

Step 1: Create Attribute Cues

Before SoundSwitch can control your fixtures' special functions, you need to create Attribute Cues with your desired settings. To do this, navigate to the Attribute Cue menu.

For functions like GOBO effects, select the Gobo Attribute from the menu and choose the specific value for your desired GOBO effect. If you're unsure about what each Attribute controls on your fixture, consult the fixture's manual for descriptions and information about how each value affects the function.

Step 2: Autoscript with Attribute Cues

Once you've created your desired Attribute Cues, you can utilize the Autoscripting tools for both audio files and autoloops. These tools will automatically add the Attribute Cues you've created, ensuring your special lighting effects are synchronized with your music.

Step 3: Editing Attribute Cues

When editing Attribute Cues in SoundSwitch, the software will automatically update all scripted tracks or autoloops containing these Attributes. This is particularly useful for Attributes that may be venue-specific and require adjustments on-site, like focusing a moving head.

Remember, Attribute Cues are designed to control your fixtures' special functions, such as GOBOs, Prisms, and so on. Basic attributes like Intensity, Color, Pan/Tilt, and Strobe are controlled using Control Tracks on the timeline, not Attribute Cues.
